| The Hyuga clan (日向一族, Hyūga Ichizoku; Literally meaning "Hyūga family") is one of the oldest and most powerful clans in Konohagakure.
Hyuga (日向) means "Towards the Sun" and is the name of a city in the Miyazaki Prefecture in Japan. It is suggested in the series that the Uchiha clan descended from the Hyuga clan, and that the kekkei genkai of the former is descended from the latter's.
All Hyuga clan members are born with the Byakugan, the inherited Kekkei Genkai of the clan. The clan revolves around the Byakugan and is separated into two parts, the main house (宗家, Sōke) and the branch house (分家, Bunke), a system that protects the secrets of the Byakugan from outsiders. The main house runs the family while the branch house protects it. The members of the branch house are branded with a cursed seal. This seal gives the main house members absolute control over the branch members, because they can destroy the branch members' brains with a simple hand gesture, or cause them great pain to punish them. This seal also makes sure the secret of the Hyuga's Byakugan is safe, because it seals the Byakugan after the wearer of the seal dies. There seems to be a great deal of bad blood between members of the main and branch houses, most likely due to the fact that no matter how powerful branch members become, they exist solely to protect the Hyuga secrets. This can be seen in the attitudes of Hizashi, who is angry about this restriction on his son, and Neji, who believed for years that his father was forced to die to protect the main house.
Members of the clan are instructed in the use of the Gentle Fist style, which uses the Byakugan to view the opponent's chakra circulatory system and deal precise blows to disable and impede the flow of chakra. Due to training in this style, Hyuga clan members tend to have excellent chakra control. This is emphasized in jutsu that utilize this chakra control, as well as the nuances of the Gentle Fist style. The clan's strongest techniques, Eight Trigrams Sixty-Four Palms and Eight Trigrams Palms Heavenly Spin, are only allowed to be taught to members of the main house. Neji Hyuga however, has bypassed this restriction by learning them on his own, earning a reputation as a "genius" in the clan.

| Clan History:
To say that the Hyuuga have always been a clan of high standing and a testament to dignity and pride would be a fair assumption. It has forever been the case that the Hyuuga are arrogant and aloof by nature, clinging to strict codes of moral conduct as well as age-old traditions. To most members of this family, there is nothing but honor and purpose. And to the Hyuuga, we are all born into a very distinct purpose.
Since the time of Konoha’s inception, when a ragtag band of shinobi came together to create what is now one of The Five Great Shinobi Villages, there has always been a Hyuuga in the background. Bearers of a rare and powerful bloodline, they have never taken a public mantle of authority within the village but have always held at least some influence. Some have even rumored the Hyuuga as a family bent only on serving their own, always holding themselves in highest opinion and importance.
Now to a very relevant extent, this is true. But the same can be said of any clan: they always act in accordance to their best interest. This is not only a fair presumption, but a well-founded one as well. But in the case of the Hyuuga, it is not necessarily the case. One occasion that perhaps resonates this point best is the tragic tale of one Hyuuga Hizashi. Born a twin to an older brother, Hiashi, he was destined to lead a life of servitude while his brother took authority over the clan as its heir.
Each brother had their own children. To Hiashi there was Hinata, a meek and exceptionally quiet little girl. To Hizashi, there was Neji, a boy of some potential. But because of the status quo, each lead very different lives. Being a part of the Branch Family, as they were called, Hizashi and Neji were branded with seals upon their foreheads which condemned them to faithful service. If they were to act out of line in any instance against the Main Family, to which Hiashi and Hinata obviously belonged, they could be tortured to death at a whim.
A certain event lead to the kidnapping of Hinata one very fateful night. The intruder who had stolen her was quickly dispatched by Hiashi, however, and all believed the crisis to be averted. But as the Hokage stepped onto the clan grounds to speak gravely with Hiashi and his father, it became quite apparent that the situation was much more complicated than anticipated.
In a very unofficial bid at revenge, the Hidden Village of Cloud was asking for Hiashi’s body in compensation for their ‘ambassador’ being killed. Thunderstruck by the deal, Hiashi was apt to give his life for the village. However, it was his father’s bidding that stayed this decision. Instead Hizashi was chosen to take his brother’s role and he gave himself willingly to appease the bargain. It was his wish to do something of his own accord, for a change. This was his chosen path.
Needless to say, this selfless act of love did much to rearrange the Hyuuga. Neji, embittered by his father’s death, later found a very sorrowful Hiashi at his feet, asking for forgiveness. If this image is not enough, what happened later is even more extraordinary. As mentioned before, Neji was a boy of potential. Yet embroiled in his hate, he found that he was more capable than any heir Hiashi could produce.
Never before had there been a Branch Family member who could surpass a Main Family member at anything, let alone the secret arts of their bloodline. However Neji clearly broke that barrier and taught himself the very deadly arts of Jyuuken, the taijutsu and strength of the Hyuuga clan. Within years he was more powerful than anyone could have imagined, and he finally began tutelage under his uncle’s careful watch.
To make things short, Hanabi, Hiashi’s only son and younger brother to Hinata, took over the clan after he passed and was an even deeper influence to the already changing clan. Taking his father’s ideals in step, he regarded the Branch Family not simply as servants, but more rightly as family. That was the point of the clan, and Hanabi was very aware of this fact through Neji; that despite all their so-called differences, they were still tied by blood.
Between Hanabi and the current clan leader, Hisae, there have been three generations of Hyuuga. Each has redefined what it means to be a part of the clan in very different ways. The strict and overly harsh branding of Branch Family members was disbanded long ago, and now even the title runs the risk of being grinded away into the sands of time.
But that does not mean that the animosity is not there. There are still a few who believe themselves pure and true. Though they are not an official group or organization, they have gone through many lengths to prevent the very revolution which Hiashi and Hizashi began. Included in this was a fanatical need to keep the bloodline untainted and to marry very selectively. Parents of these Hyuuga were careful to prepare marriages between very important persons within the village and thus anchored themselves to the threads of power. By this they are still able to control much of what goes on both within and outside the clan despite Hisae’s best efforts.
The current status of the clan is rocky, at best. With the Purebloods holding a very tight grip around Hisae’s reign, they threaten to undo all the progress achieved within the last century. These are things which have shaped the lives of the Hyuuga for the better. The clan has never been so open and accepting of one another than they are now, neither tied to their trivial pursuits of destiny or to the arrogance to which they were once jaded.
Essentially the two families co-exist quite peacefully. As mentioned before, the borders between the two are nearly non-existent except for only the most faithful to the ancient ways. Some Branch Members have even gone so far as to develop their own, new seal which they attach to themselves. This one, however, does not induce any sort of pain upon the bearer but is instead a literal symbol of service. To this end, despite all efforts, these clan members view themselves alike to slaves and do nothing but serve Hyuuga who will ‘accept’ them. Little do they know that they only contribute to the Purebloods’ conviction.
===============
Clan Structure:
Very loosely structured as opposed to more than 100 years ago, the Hyuuga are seen as much more lenient than they once were. Hisae, the only female clan head ever, is a model of patience and virtue. Through her vision and guidance, much of the Hyuuga has come to live by her example. As such, a general assumption would be to say that most Hyuuga are well-mannered and have a strong sense of justice that comes second only to their pursuit of excellence. However, this only attributes for the general population.
There are, in practice, three separate Hyuuga families. Though not named so, there is the Main, Pureblood, and Branch Family. The Main would include Hisae and the all the other Hyuuga who do not associate with the other two houses. The Pureblood ‘house’ is one which only the most prideful of Hyuuga are a part of. Having not been tainted by either Branch Family blood or by any other outside influences, they believe themselves whole and the true heirs of the Hyuuga dynasty.
The Branch Family, as they are now, are found mostly in the abodes of Purebloods. They cling to age-old tradition and refuse to accept the ever-changing clan’s ideals no matter the results. Committing themselves to their masters, they are very much the opposite of everything the clan has achieved to this day. Hisae, in her judgment, has not done anything to persuade them though. One of the most important new-age teachings of the Hyuuga is to choose and make your own destiny. If this is what her renegade brethren wish for, she cannot deny them.
This is, of course, a very objective look at what the clan is. The truth of it is that one cannot truly know the Hyuuga unless they are themselves a part of the clan. Regardless of how often it may be told to any outsider, the inner workings of the clan are still very much subtle and secretive.
The Hyuuga clan were one of the founding noble families of Leaf village. The clan itself is said to be the ancestors of the Uchiha clan who possess the bloodline of the Sharingan eye. Each clan member possess the "Byakugan" or "White Eye." When the "Byakugan" is activated, the clan member gains an extra-sensory perception, which gives them penetrating sight and telescopic vision. This allows them to see the internal chakra circulation system in other beings. This vision also grants the member a near 360° view of their surroundings. The higher the skill of the clan member, the further the distance from which they can sense incoming attacks. Unfortunately the vision does have a weakness, a small blindspot that extends outwards from their upper back.
The clan uses this ability in conjunction with their own chakra creating the Juuken (gentle fist) fighting style. By focusing the chakra to their finger tips, they can press the tenketsu or chakra pressure points of their opponents body. When the finger nears the tenketsu the chakra is forced out, collasping the targetted tenketsu for a period of time. The tenketsu serve as the connectors and exit points for the chakra pathways. So when they are stopped by the Hyuuga clan member, the ninja greatly loses his or her ability to utilize their chakra for jutsu.
These great powers lead to internal strife within the family. Because the eye grants such a unique and powerful ability, the clan became possessive and over-protective of it. Seeing only the main family as worthy users and inheritors of the eye, the heads of the clan began to place restrictions on those branch family members not in power. What resulted were two Hyuuga lines, the powerful main family who would represent the line, and the branch family who were directed to protect the main family and bear the cursed seal.
The cursed seal is placed on the foreheads of branch family members. It serves as a means to protect the secrets of the Hyuuga Byakugan eye. If the branch family member was to ever betray the main family or be killed in battle, the seal would be activated to destroy the body's secrets. Thus forcing the branch family to further bow to the will of the main family.

| Hyuuga Clan : Jyuuken, The Gentle Fist
Description:
A testament to their might and finesse, Jyuuken is an art in every sense of the word. Dependent on defensive counters, a focused eye, perfect balance, and quick decisions, it is no wonder that many fear the Hyuuga clan. While each person brings their own unique spin to the style, there are some things which are fundamental in each of them.
Posture is almost always natural and relaxed; motion remains even and fluid, with the muscles neither stiff nor rigid. Breathing should also be deep and regular. The practice of Jyuuken requires a combination of vigor and gentleness - neither inertness nor rigidity is allowed. The mind should be tranquil but alert, with consciousness commanding the body in order to achieve stillness within movement - a unity of stillness and motion. Body movements are to be well coordinated throughout the process of conditioning. Though the movements are gentle and slow, each part of the body is in constant motion. While practicing Jyuuken, the weight of the body is mainly borne by the waist and legs. A characteristic feature of Jyuuken is that all movements are carried out in half squatting position and none are for waste.
After the basic levels of training, movement speed increases greatly, making Jyuuken a useful offensive style that also focuses on a principle of multiple layers of circles. This layer of circles is essential in understanding the flow of movement in Jyuuken. Known as the Field of Hakke, it is both a spiritual and physical realm of existence which every Hyuuga who practices the style learns to accommodate. For most, there are only three rings surrounding them excluding the center. But for advanced users there is a wider, fourth ring which expands their effective range exponentially.
Moving out of these circles during attacks with a combination of perfectly aimed palm and finger strikes, and rapid punches and kicks makes Jyuuken a style easily recognizable. Mostly, though, the style is defensive, using the movement of the enemy as a catalyst for one's own steps. To use Jyuuken in the right way, one has to possess much patience, calm, and a sense for tactics. The Byakugan, of course, greatly enhances the latter for a Hyuuga.
Style Basis: Taijutsu
Stances:
Jyuuken has two primary stances and few special ones.
The first primary stance (available from Stages 1 to 7) has the user standing slightly sideways faced towards the opponent, the front leg extended forward and the back leg turned in the same direction, the knee bending in slightly. The front arm is extended with the palm focused forward, fingers stretched out and held against each other. The other hand makes an L-form shape into the same direction, held in front of the chest with the hand focused in the same way as the other.
A slightly more advanced stance of Jyuuken (available from stages 4 to 7) alters the arms a bit. For one, the user bends through his back leg more, getting him slightly closer to the ground. The front arm remains extended, while the back arm stays in its L-shape in front of the chest. However, the hand of the back arm turns around, the palm now showing upward instead of forward. This stance allows for more offense.
Jyuuken has a few more stances specific for certain techniques. These will be detailed later. The two stances mentioned above, though, are entirely for poise and balance. Their immediate effect is only that they position the user to the best uses of Jyuuken. They do not necessarily add any potential benefits aside from any already highlighted in the style.
Stage One
At this stage, the user is capable to perform the basic Jyuuken stance, and attack with simple kicks and punches. The emphasis is placed on insight already; how to block an attack and counter it. Steady aiming is important as well; how to make your hit at the exact spot you wanted it to land.
Physical power and/or speed are not important at this stage, nor are athletics. Learning patience, control and style is what matters most here. Reaction speed will also be tested greatly, and will increase in beginning users of Jyuuken. At this point, the point of the style is learning. The terms of offense and defense are downplayed whereas growth and experience are promoted. Special Techniques:
None
Stage Two
Not far off from the last stage, this level of Jyuuken places an emphasis on countering and follow-ups. Anticipating an opponent’s movements are key alongside practicing how to use them to one’s benefit. Flowing with an attack rather than withstanding it begins to take form in every movement. Dodging, too, becomes beneficial. Though at this stage the user is not conditioned enough to fully predict and evade attacks with as much precision as later levels.
Offensively, there have been a few changes. The ability to pinpoint areas of attack is still stressed, though now it’s less about finding an opening because at this point the user is hopefully able to put their bloodline to use and deliver chakra-based attacks. With this new key weapon in their arsenal, most Hyuugas quickly develop a short list of vital points to attack such as the chest and ribs to fully deliver their deadly punches.
Special Techniques:
Hakkeshou Nankan (Hand of the Eight Divinations: Barrier) Requirement: Jyuuken Type: Taijutsu; Defensive/Passive Description: When an opponent is within the closest ranges of the Hakke, the user of this technique begins to excrete a small amount of chakra from the tenketsus at a steady rate. By doing this the user is able to heighten their reflexes. This technique increases both the defensive and offensive capabilities of Jyuuken attacks by speeding up the users natural reaction time significantly. In a manner of speaking, it is a barrier that alerts the user of motion way before the motion reaches the user, a heightened sense of movement. Unlike the Hakkeshou Kaiten, this technique requires much less chakra and doesn't provide an offensive strike, but more of a preemptive strike. It is said that this technique was created to answer the Sharingan's ability to copy and counter taijutsu techniques.
Stage Three
At this level, the Jyuuken user drastically improves in speed. The ability to counter attacks and interpret movements was already exceptional, but coupled now with lightning-fast reflexes makes the user a terrible thing to behold in battle. Most attacks can be instantly reversed, altered, and combinations of counters can be situated. The user learns the second basic stance here, but will usually stick to the primary one (it is as of yet practical in usage and unusable). However, punches, kicks, and palm strikes are still a Hyuuga’s main weapon. The variety of offensive maneuvers they are later feared for are not yet fully-developed.
The user begins to learn a bit about the body of the enemy here, finding out where to hit to make it matter. Tactical insight drastically increases, combined with the aforementioned increase in speed to finalize the Jyuuken basics reached at the end of the second stage.
Special Techniques: Hakkeshou Sekishokyuu (Hand of the Eight Divinations: Barrier Sphere) Requires: Jyuuken, Hakkeshou Nankan Type: Taijutsu; Defensive Description: A prelude to the Hakkeshou Kaiten, this technique makes most use out of chakra control. As through the learning tree, a Hyuuga must first learn the Hakkeshou Nankan to use this technique, borrowing from the basic principle of chakra expulsion in mass amounts. This technique, though, makes further use of that method but releases a mass amount of chakra in one blast, excreting it from all the tenketsus much like in the Hakkeshou Kaiten. Then, any opponent caught within its blast, which cannot exceed more than ½ a meter, is instantly stalled, stopped mid-attack or movement. Same goes for projectiles such as kunais or shuriken. But, the major flaw of this technique, is that it does absolutely nothing against ninjutsu. Also, since the spin is not used in this technique, the amount of chakra to be used to gain this effect is larger than in Kaiten*. *Can be used X times, where X is the user's Reserves divided by 5 rounded up.
Hakkeshou Inasu (Hand of the Eight Divinations: Parry) Requires: Hakkeshou Nankan Type: Taijutsu; Defensive Description: The counterattack is a concept well-known to all taijutsu specialists. To most it consists of a two-step process: recognize an attack then move to act against it. Yet to the Hyuuga, and through Jyuuken, the counterattack is measured by a different method. First using the Byakugan, the Hyuuga is able to perceive the attack. Then using Hakkeshou Nankan, they are further able to feel it. The third step is this technique. Manipulating the Nankan so that chakra creates a ‘soft’ obstacle, the Hyuuga is able to divert an incoming attack if by only a few inches. This can mean the difference between a simple cut and a fatal gash. With experience, a Hyuuga can even apply this technique to opposing taijutsus.
@ 8 Control – The Hyuuga can only divert a single projectile, and only by a maximum of 10cm. @ 12 Control – The Hyuuga can only divert a single projectile to a maximum of a 15cm. @ 16 Control – The Hyuuga can divert multiple projectiles and weapon attacks to a maximum of 20cm. @ 20 Control – The Hyuuga can divert multiple projectiles/weapon attacks and taijutsu attacks to a maximum of 20cm. @ 24 Control – The Hyuuga can divert multiple projectiles/weapon attacks and taijutsu attacks to a maximum of 25cm.
Note: Divert =/= redirect at your opponent. Divert =/= aim an attack at another person. Etc etc.
Stage Four
The fourth stage of Jyuuken shows an increase in agility and speed. The user begins to use more athletic combat moves; back flips, nimble dodges, all part of the regular arsenal. Take into account that Jyuuken’s second stance becomes available here and you have a devastating array of maneuvers. Most importantly, though, this is the point where the user begins to learn to attack with his/her fingertips. Hitting tenketsu becomes regular business at this stage, though it still might prove fairly difficult to land perfect hits.
At this point the user is vastly aware of their surroundings at all times and the ability to react to attacks increases as well. The fourth ring in the Field of Hakke suddenly becomes available to Hyuuga at this stage but most are unaware of its true potential. In effect, it serves to only increase their Byakugan’s effective combat range and perception.
Also of note is the strength of each individual palm and finger strike. Though previously not very powerful at all, this stage makes it so that the user is finally accustomed to both their body and bloodline in such a way that full force and effect is possible. The short of it is: their attacks are now both externally and internally damaging.
Special Techniques:
Opening Point Attacks Requirement: Clan Owner Approval Type: Taijutsu; Offensive Description: Performed by a genius among the Hyuuga. It allows the Byakugan user to see the chakra openings (Tsubos) and strike them with enough accuracy to close them - stopping or increasing the flow of chakra. The holes are found from the 361 pressure points in the Inner Coil System (Tenketsu).
Hakkeshou Kaiten (Hand of the Eight Divinations: Heavenly Spin) Requirements: Hakkeshou Nankan + Hakkeshou Sekishokyuu Type: Taijutsu; Defensive (contextual) Description: Another of the 'perfect defense' jutsu types. At the exact moment a blow is landed on the body, large amounts of chakra are expelled from the tenketsu around the body. With that force in place, his body then begins to spin like a top. The combined efforts of the chakra and the spin, first deflect the attack** - then throw the opponent backwards. The radius of this defense is 10m. **When blocking/deflecting physical attacks, the user must have a combined speed and stamina greater than or equal to the opponent’s strength and stamina. Likewise with ninjutsu, the user must have a combined speed and stamina greater than or equal to the opponent’s power and control in order to block/deflect an attack.
Hakke Rokujuu Yonshou (Hand of the Eight Divinations: 64 Hands) Requirements: Opening Point Attacks Type: Taijutsu; Offensive Description: Using a highly advanced form of Byakugan, the user is able to see the tenketsu on a person's body and, using Jyuuken’s advanced maneuvers, closes them with quick blows, stopping the flow of chakra through one's body. In total there are 64 consecutive strikes made upon the opponent and renders their chakra system completely useless for the remainder of the battle (thread). **The physical strength of each blow is the user's own strength.
Stage Five
The advanced level of Jyuuken, the user here increases in physical power and speed, and has come to a point of ability in which the tenketsus are all known by heart, dozens of tactics have been studied, and counters have been made for most types of assaults. Long-distance combat, the bane of any taijutsu user, can’t even be considered a weakness to most Hyuugas. With the ability to close large distances in a matter of moments and with even greater nimbleness than seen thus far, Jyuuken users are only more reputable.
The Field of Hakke is now fully accessible. The user is able to ‘feel’ whatever is within the field with great precision. This sense of knowing, however, is pure deception. The field is simply utilized by the Byakugan and only further enhanced by the user’s now-stunning prowess. Agility provides a measure against every form of attack while speed and a growing strength afford the user the ability to exploit any weakness caught within their field of vision. Most do not know this, but the Field of Hakke only dictates the effective combat range of a Hyuuga, both defensively and offensively. This is quite separate from a Hyuuga’s line of sight.
The greatest addition here is the insight to step into attacks. Even when the opponent is not attacking, this level of Jyuuken allows the user to get the enemy into a situation where he'd be forced to fight the Jyuuken user in his defensive stance. A very likeable style starts to show here, because even when attacking, the prime aspect is defense. On another note, the user also starts to use less kicks here, keeping himself more on the ground.

| Special Techniques:
Opening Point Attacks Requirement: Clan Owner Approval Type: Taijutsu; Offensive Description: At this stage, the tenketsu are taught to a Hyuuga rather than discovered through natural talent. It allows the Byakugan user to see the chakra openings (Tsubos) and strike them with enough accuracy to close them - stopping or increasing the flow of chakra. The holes are found from the 361 pressure points in the Inner Coil System (Tenketsu).
Hakke Hyaku Niju Hashou (Hand of the Eight Divinations: 128 Hands) Requirement: Hakke Rokujuu Yonshou + Player Approval Type: Taijutsu; Offensive Description: Much like the technique leading up to it but even more impressive. Taking up a peculiar stance, the user focuses their mind and opens up the fourth ring in the Field of Hakke (based on the doujutsu’s field of vision), allowing their Byakugan to absorb all the information of everything within it with frightening accuracy. At this point the user’s overall attack speed increases dramatically** and allows them to fire volleys of palm/finger strikes and kicks at an opponent in mere seconds. The end result is an attack consisting of 128 strikes that are aimed to completely shut down an opponent’s chakra system and render them incapable of recovery for a few weeks. **Speed is increased by 10% for the duration of this technique. The strength of each blow is equal to the user's own strength.
Stage Six
Another healthy increase to the superb fighting skills of any Hyuuga, this stage only serves as a stepping stone to the next. Yet far and apart are those who make it to this stage and those who make it to the next. Only the most brilliant and talented have ever surpassed this stage, and they have been no less than legends even amongst the Hyuuga.
In this stage we come across both devastating strength and unmatchable speed; a combination that is difficult to contest. Stamina is increased as well, allowing the user to practice and perform their techniques for long periods of time, honing their skills to the utmost. In all, the user has come to a state of near-perfection physically. Fitness is not the sole concern of the Hyuuga, though. There is still the same emphasis on the ability to see attacks and organize counterattacks as well as methods of escape. Yet here, the user has conditioned themself to the point where any attack made upon their person is either easily dealt with or even preemptively halted.
This is because the Byakugan has developed in such a way that it allows the user to notice all the minute details of a person’s anatomy. A muscle twitching into motion, chakra being gathered in a particular part of the body, and so on and so forth: these are things the user of Jyuuken has knowledge of. Even nerve impulse, that is physical reflexes, are seen as if in slow motion and taken into account with a Hyuuga at this level.
Special Techniques:
Hakke Kuushou (Hand of the Eight Divinations: Wind Palm) Requirement: Hakkeshou Sekishokyuu Type: Taijutsu; Offensive Description: A fantastic attack that literally pushes the range of any Hyuuga to the brink. In this technique, the user simply positions themselves in the same way they would if they were to attack someone right in front of them. But instead, they thrust their palms out in the direction of their opponent and release chakra in short bursts. These bursts become almost like bullets of air and ram into opponents who are too far away for the Hyuuga to immediately reach. **The range of this attack is determined by the half the user’s control in meters. The strength of the attack is a third (1/3) the user’s speed and stamina combined.
Hakkeshou Daikaiten (Hand of the Eight Divinations: Grand Heavenly Spin) Requirement: Kaiten, Clan Owner Approval Type: Type; Defensive (contextual) Description: A stronger form of Kaiten that can only be used by the most skilled of the Hyuuga (and formerly only by the main family). It has a much greater radius than its predecessor, stretching as far as 25m in radius* *Maximum effect can only be achieved twice a thread. **When blocking/deflecting physical attacks, the user must have a combined speed and stamina greater than or equal to the opponent’s strength and stamina. Likewise with ninjutsu, the user must have a combined speed and stamina greater than or equal to the opponent’s power and control in order to block/deflect an attack.[/i]
Stage Seven
The final level of Jyuuken where power and speed both massively increase. The user evolves into a state of near perfection, possible to use offense as defense, and vice versa, to an extent that is nearly impossible to break through. Physical power drastically increases, making finger point strikes lethal enough to break bones and disrupt organs, even without the use of additional chakra.
The user, however, will mostly stand still and await attacks while in this stance, except during times when one of the specific techniques is used. The reason of this is simple; attacking is no longer necessary in a one on one battle. The Jyuuken user is nearly impossible to hit at this level, and can counter close to anything at blinding speed, and with incredible force. Victory is almost always a certainty.
Genin Hyuuga Jutsu.
Eight Trigrams Palms Heavenly Spin ; Hakkeshô Kaiten Requirements: Genin +- This jutsu utilizes the chakra control gained through Gentle Fist training to release a huge amount of chakra from the user's chakra points when struck. The released chakra blocks any possible attack. The user then spins themselves rapidly to parry the attack, both creating a shield of chakra around themselves and tossing away any would-be attackers. Known to talented Hyuuga's.
Eight Trigrams Sixty-Four Palms ; Hakke Rokujûyon Shô Requirements: Genin +- This jutsu closes off sixty-four specific chakra points (tenketsu) on an opponent's body with the gentle fist, effectively eliminating their ability to use chakra for quite some time and making it quite difficult for them to move. It begins with the closing of two chakra points, followed by four more, then eight, then sixteen, then thirty-two, and then sixty-four strikes. Each set of strikes is done at an increasing pace. This jutsu is known to Talented Hyuuga's.
Protection of the Eight Trigrams Palms Heavenly spin ; Purotekutaa Hakkeshou Kaiten Requirements: Advanced Genin+ , Jounin to master +- This is another absolute defense variant of Hakkeshou Kaiten. It involves making chakra pulses to deflect blows or weapons. First, the user starts to spin their arms rapidly in a way similar to Hinata's Shugo Hakkeshou Kaiten. Then, the user waits for an attack to come and deflects it with a chakra pulse right at the moment of impact. The harder the hit to the chakra pulse, the higher the chance of penetrating. Although this is a problem, it has a simpl solution of putting more chakra into the pulse. It is hard to master the technique, and only by the time you are an experienced jounin can you deflect nearly any blow. If the weapon is defected, a wave created by the pulse violently pushes away everything within 3 meters. [3 spaces in habbo]. Although it is an absolute defense, the Purotekutaa does not always protect the user. If the user does not emit enough chakra to deflect the blow, the attack will penetrate. For instance, if a fuuma shuriken was thrown at the user, and the user did not emit enough chakra to deflect it, then the fuuma shuriken would penetrate.
Chuunin Hyuuga Jutsu.
Eight Trigrams Air Palm Blast ; Hakke Kûshô Requirements: Chuunin+ +- Hakke Kuushou is a ranged Taijutsu technique utilized by Hyuuga Neji. Extending chakra from his body, Neji will thrust his palm at his target. This will send out an invisible wave of chakra which can knock his opponent back. It is unknown if this wave can also collapse his targets tenketsu points. This jutsu is known to the more talented of Hyuuga`s. The blast has the power to blast apart boulders, walls, etc. (even people can be blasted apart if you are right in front of them)
Heavenly Spin ; Kaiten Requirememnts: Chuunin +- This jutsu allows the user to emit chakra from their body wihtout using handseal and begin to spin. As they spin the chakra gathers up and begins to move around with the user creating a sphere of chakra that deflects most weapons and items. Note : This does not need handseals.
Eight Trigrams Palms Great Heavenly Spin ; Hakkeshō Dai Kaiten Requirements:Chuunin +- This jutsu utlizes the Kaiten, but at a greater velocity. By emitting more chakra than the regualr Kaiten and keeping a steadily speed. This enables the user to create a larger version of the Kaiten.
Eight Trigrams One Hundred Twenty-Eight Palms ; Hakke Hyaku Nijūhachi Requirements: Chuunin +- This jutsu is essentially a doubled version of Eight Trigrams Sixty-Four Palms. Like the former, it closes off the opponent's chakra points in an exponentially increasing number of quick successive strikes. Unlike the former, it closes off twice as many (128) at twice the speed. Alternatively, it can be used to hit a great number of targets very quickly. It has a slightly different stance than the lesser form in which the upper body is slightly rotated to the right. This stance activates the characters at the edge of his divination field, beginning the technique. This jutsu is known to the more talented of Hyuuga's.
White Haze Dance ; Hakurô Tenbu Requirements: Chuunin +- This jutsu causes a shining blue light to consume the user's hands. This then allows the user to attack the enemy, at their blind spots, with several powered-up Gentle Fist attacks and finishes off by using the light to blow the enemy away
One Hundred Violent Palms ; Hyaku Retsu Shō Requirements: Chuunin , Must be using Hakuro Tenbu. +- This jutsu is the weaker counterpart of Eight Trigrams One Hundred Twenty-Eight Palms, but deals more damage. The user concentrates their chakra into a emnity of light and thread, moving their hands into a circular motion hitting the opponent with threads of chakra 100 times slashing though their body.
Palm Dance of Divination ; Hakke Shō Ranbū Requirements: Chuunin +- The user creates a divination circle which ranges to about 30 feet around the user. The circle emits chakra from the sides of the ying and yang sign which locks the user in place.

| Jounin Hyuuga Jutsu.
Eight Trigrams Three Hundred Sixty-One Palms ; Hakke Sanbyaku Rokujūichi Shiki Requirements: Jounin +- This jutsu is considered one of the most powerful technique within the Hyuga clan, and is generally used as a last resort. When using this technique, the speed of the user is comparable to that of the Reverse Lotus. This jutsu allows the user to strike all 361 chakra points of the opponent, paralyzing them with each blow and instantly killing them upon the final hit. This jutsu is only known to the most powerful of Hyuuga's.
Eight Gates Bombardment ; Zesshō Hachimon Hougeki Requirements: Jounin +- This jutsu involves attacking and closing the eight life gates. To attack the Eight Chakra Gates This jutsu requires great skill.
Hakke Hasangeki Requirements: Jounin +- Derived from the Hakke Kushou, this enable the user to pur out their chakra into their hand as they slam it agasin the oppnent. Temporarily freezing them as the user release the chakra into a blast wave into the air which rips the air current along with the person. Once used & hit the chakra flow in both people has stopped for a short amount of time but for the user its doesn't last as long but they are fatigued from using this move.
Eight Trigrams Palm Heavenly Spin Absolute ; Hakkeshō Kaiten Zetsu Requirements: Jounin +- An orange, larger, and far more powerful version of Eight Trigrams Palm Heavenly Spin. This Jutsu is known to the most powerful of Hyuuga's.
Eight Divinitation Signs: Heavenly Spin of Divinity Requirements: Jounin
Much like the Great Heavenly spin, the user sends themselves in a twirl. Gusting out chakra to form a sphere, they focus even deeper. WIth this focus, they cast out weak-chakra clones that rotate with the sphere. While they rotate, the weak clones do Empty Palm Technique. In doing this, about 50 orbs are casted out. In another light, its actually the user hiimself blasting empty palm outwards from the sphere. The after effects isnt that deadly, just casting enemies farther away than the Heavenly Spin would already do.
Clan Leader & Elder's Hyuuga Jutsu.
Eight Trigrams Seven Hundred Twenty-Two Palms Requirements: Hyuuga Leader & Elder. +- Seven hundred and twenty two strikes of the palm. The name is self explanatory, hitting every chakra hole twice. Normally, halway through the move the target is dead. This justu is always guaranteed to kill an enemy. It hits every chakra hole on the body twice, killing even the most enduring of opponents. This jutsu is only know to the most ancient and revered of the clan.
One Handed Hundred Thrusts Requirements: Hyuuga Leader & Elder. +- The user gets into the formation of the 64 palm, but slams one hand onto the opponent using the nesscesary chakra for a regualr 128 palm. Letting only about most of the chakra out to only let the chakra hit to opponent 100 times the other 28 is pushed out into a straightfoward blast. Even though its not strong it can move the person into the air if close enough.
Three Air Thrust Palm Requirements: Hyuuga Leader & Elder. +- The user sends out 2 variations of the Hakke Kushou, with the normal two hand striking motion. As the third strike come the user spread their feet apart using their whole body for the movement and sending a mssive amount of chakra to the palm. Upon thrusting the hand a Hakke Kushou is realeased capable of breaking through metals.
Hakke Genshi Bakudan Requirements: Hyuuga Leader & Elder ; Chakra Manipulation
The user emits an enormous chakra amount, nearly depleting all of their chakra in one blast. The radius of the explosion is enough to take a village out, but this attack normally ends with the user's death, or severe injury. It has been declared forbidden due to the extremities of this jutsu. There is a chance of survival if the user bears some sort of self healing seal or life sustaining system.
Eight Divination Signs: One Hundred Palms of the Wind Requirements: Hyuuga Leader & Elder ; Chakra Manipulation
In sealing for the trigrams, the opponent is locked in a 30 foot ring. While trapped, the user blasts out their palm using Empty Palm technique, which is required to do this Jutsu. Several rows of empty palm orbs will consume the opposer as the user blasts them out at high speeds. Under taking the hits, the opponent would have their organs ruptured and severely damaged, and most likely dead.
Chakra Pulse: Standing Still Requirements: Hyuuga Leader & Elder ; Chakra Manipulation
This necessitates that palms are opened and chakra is charged into the hands. If held at both sides, this can create a large dome. The chakra is blown out from the user and then suddenly standing still, gripping all movement and freezing it. This is less effective than Kanashibari, but much wider ranged. Extreme chakra control is necessary to master this technique.
Horizon: Explosive Dawn Sun Requirements: Hyuuga Leader & Elder ; Chakra Manipulation
In this jutsu, the user utilizes the power of the rising sun and its respective chakra to rise gigantic orbs of chakra from the earth and onto the service. The orbs are not movable unless the user's chakra is charged into it. and do not directly drain from the user's chakra. Up to 100 orbs, large or small, can be risen from the earth. When touched by any sort of Chakra enhanced move or when a sentient touches the orb, it explodes. It has the ability to wipe out an entire row of houses.
Chakra Focus: Chakra Absorption Shield Requirements: Hyuuga Leader & Elder ; Chakra Manipulation
This technique allows a flow of chakra to be swirled around rapidly among the user in a 5 foot radius. This chakra dictates a negative charge, and it striking anything chakra charged will void the item of chakra energy. It can be focused and kept around the user if he decides to move. For as long as the orb exists around the user, focus and chakra is needed to fuel it.
Twelve Divinitation Signs: Divine Assault of the Trigram Requirements: Hyuuga Leader & Elder ; Chakra Manipulation
Normally the Trigram would be opened to Eight, but instead opens twelve trigrams. While doing so, the opponent is locked into a larger ring. Though, he would be mistaken to think that this is a melee combo. The user would blast their gentle fist outwards in an empty palm style; although, the user is using their fingertips instead, rather than palm. By doing so, the opponent is bombarded with Jyuuken strikes. When completed, the opponent will drop to their knees severely hindered or most likely dead.
361 Divination Signs; Implosion of Silver Requirements: Hyuuga Leader & Elder ; Chakra Manipulation
The user must be powerful enough to create an enormous amount of divination signs, covering the span of an entire village in its blast radius. Once the user casts out the signs using their byakugan range, the user creates a rasengan sized ball of the special clan chakra. Then they proceed to rub their hands in a special fusion dust. using the chakra, the dust's atoms are fused together in the fusion process, creating an enormous implosion the strength of a hydrogen bomb, which essentially does the same process. Once the implosion occurs, everything within a several mile radius is sucked in towards the site of implosion. After enough particles collect at the implosion site, the pressure caused by the compaction blasts the mass apart, creating an enormous explosion. the resulting effects are severe radiation for several years in that area, collateral damage, and death to the user. If the user has a potent chakra shield surrounding them, they may stay alive in the aftershock, but they will be severely wounded and will eventually die without radiation protection. The jutsu is tough to learn because an enormous byakugan range is needed and imperious chakra control.
Shadow Lance; Palm of the Assassin Requirements: Hyuuga Leader & Elder ; Chakra Manipulation
The user locates a target within their byakugan range, and then proceeds to launch an extremely concentrated hakke kuushou, hakke hasangeki, or hakke bakudan. The concentration of chakra forms an anti material lance that goes straight through objects and materials, forming the perfect assassination technique when combined with the byakugan. Since there is zero resistance to the chakra lance when going through the air, as it can even cut the air, it has an almost limitless range. The projectile will only dissipate when remote chakra control is not possible. The only problem with this technique, however, is that although it harms ANYTHING that it passes through, minimal damage will be done unless it hits vital part of the body such as the head of the target or the heart. If not, the attack will simply cause a minor would that goes straight through the opponent. if the user uses that hakke bakudan version of the shadow lance, it will not penetrate as deeply, but will have an explosive effect. All that is required is knowledge of a hakke technique and precise chakra control
Scattered Divination Signs; Bombardment Of The Silver Plumes Requirements: Hyuuga Leader & Elder ; Chakra Manipulation
Locating Targets in the vicinity using their byakugan, the user will locate targets within their byakugan radius. Once that is accomplished, the user gathers a silver crackling chakra in their palms, hurtling it into the air. Once the chakra is in the air, the user guides them into several plumes that home in on the target. The result is similar to an artillery strike, raining plumes of chakra instead that form radiant blue explosions that look like building sized sapphire suns. This jutsu takes up large amounts of chakra, but it can target nearly any target provided it is not underground. The jutsu can be used to destroy obstructions and buildings.
Hakke Hazan Hougeki - Eight Trigrams Crumbling Mountain Bombardment Requirements: Hyuuga Leader & Elder ; Chakra Manipulation
The user strikes the enemy's vital area while discharging his chakra within the enemy's body until it bursts from the back in the form of a small thin beam that rapidly inlarges into a massive mountain destroying wave of chakra. The user then taints the enemy with his chakra that he strikes, creating a small burst of chakra that blows the enemy away.
