The Abarai Clan is known for their Mugenkugan eye. The Mugenkugan’s primary ability is to see traveling waves of electromagnetism or electromagnetic radiation within a person. Electromagnetic radiation is a propagating wave with magnetic and electric components; every person has an electromagnetic current that runs though them. In total the Mugenkugan can view all electromagnetic wavelengths of various frequencies such as electrical, radio, microwave, infrared, visible light, ultra-violet and gamma energies. But the Mugenkugan needs to blends all of these energy frequencies into one [Gurou] to be viewed, which is known as the infinite spectrum.

Every person gives of a unique glow or Gurou through the infinite spectrum, making the Mugenkugan user able to identify exactly where a person is and who a person is, rendering genjutsus against the Mugenkugan useless. A person's Gurou can bee seen through anything, even solid object. The Mugenkugan can intensify a specific person’s Gurou, making it a perfect tracking ability. Even if that specific person is miles away and in another country, the Mugenkugan user can locate the direction in which their target is [by that person's Gurou] relative to the user.

The Mugenkugan's natural enemy is another Mugenkugan. The Mugenkugan's final ability is to be able to "blackout" a specific person's Gurou, including himself. The "blackout" will last only several minutes, until the electricity can flow again. Although if another Mugenkugan user locates a "blackout" subject, he/she can reactivate that person's Gurou.

-- The user, combining chakra and spectrum, is able to create an area of heavy wavelength energy. This energy is heavy enough to affect the human body directly, causing those within its radius to be slowed down. This slow down affect simply slows down overall body movement. Dashes of speed are less affected. Attacks, however, requiring many of the muscles in the body, are slowed down, allowing the user the ability to dodge and counter incoming attacks. This technique only works once in a battle and the dodging must be fully rped. A Mugenkugan user can disperse the wavelength around their body.

- Tsuyaken [Radiant Sphere]

-- The user gathers chakra into his/her palm. Using the Mugenkugan’s Infinite Spectrum, the user molds the chakra into a sphere of gamma energy. When complete the sphere looks completely black, outlined in a white light. As pure gamma energy, the Tsuyaken can do no physical harm. The user must send an electrical surge to react with the Tsuyaken to cause an outward explosion. The Tsuyaken can be thrown, but still requires an electrical surge to explode. This explosion depends on the amount electricity sent to the Tsuyaken and the size of the Tsuyaken. This version of the Tsuyaken is a watered down version of the true technique. Everything can be performed in one post, and the Tsuyaken is about the size of a tennis ball. The explosion from this version can break through wood, causing minimal burns to the user’s palm, or opponents body(wherever Tsuyaken hits).

- Haku Bunshin no Jutsu [Twilight Clone Technique]

-- This Bunshin Technique was especially developed to fight against another Abarai wielding the Mugenkugan Doujutsu. The Haku Bunshin no jutsu is made of all energy frequencies, Gurou, and is solidly processed through the user’s chakra. So each Bunshin holds a portion of the user’s chakra, enabling them to use one jutsu before fading into darkness. A Haku Bunshin gives off the exact same Gurou as the user, so that Mugenkugan users can't tell the difference between the real Abarai and the Bunshin. This Bunshin outside of the Mugenkugan's Infinite Spectrum looks exactly like user and even holds the Mugenkugan eyes. These Bunshin are able to physically attack and when taken a single blow, they disperse in a black streams of smoke.

- Kyo-Tsuyaken [Eternal Radiant Sphere]

- Tokugi Denpa [Special Skill: Electromagnetic Wave]

-- At the cost of placing the nervous system into a shock, the user uses this last resort technique. The user forces the nervous system to run faster, forcing electricity through every single nerve in the body to create enough magnetism to perform the technique. Though not using much chakra, this sacrifices the very thing the user uses both in battle and conventionally. The user then forms his chakra so that it guides the nerves in their body to the center of the chakra circulation system. His body then becomes limp. Then, releasing that power immediately afterwards, this electromagnetic, chakra-induced wave, short circuits everything, including the nervous system. What is strange about this technique that even though the damage is serious, the nervous system seems to keep the connection between the brain and the heart active. Other than that, everything is shot in both the user and the opponent, but not killing them.

- Raiton: Raikou Enchou no Jutsu [Lightning Element: Lightning Dome Technique]

-- Using a long row of hand seals, the user slams their hands onto the ground and force over themselves a large dome of electricity, being able to extend approximately 20 feet in diameter, so the user can enhouse their entire team or one or two people. This dome can withstand most attacks, though Suiton and Fuuton will damage the shield, creating an opening unless the user attempts to repair the shield, which they may do immediately. The user can hold up the shield for a certain amount of time, however, using this dome negates all magnetic fields, making the user unable to perform any jutsu inside or outside of the dome.

- Raiton: Shiyokinshi Shintai no Jutsu [Disabled Movement Technique]

-- Using tactics and intelligence, the user performs the right hand seals and places their hands on the ground, creating a magnetic field that goes in 20 feet in diameter, paralyzing anyone within the field to the point where movement is impossible. There are a few downsides to this technique. For one, when the user is within the magnetic field, they must keep their hands on the ground or the jutsu will be dismissed. The user can hold down the field for a maximum of 5 minutes. Holding down the field any longer, will cause stress to the user and place them in a state of shock. If the user leaves the magnetic field, the jutsu will begin to wear off and the target will be back to normal about a minute after the magnetic field fades away.

- Raiton: Kyuukyou Kairai no Jutsu [Ultimate Thunderstorm Technique]

-- Before this technique can be carried out, the user must be standing on the highest point in the area. Then he or she does a series of handseals, and raises both hands to the sky. Above the user, a thunder cloud that is pure black is formed. It is about 5 miles in diameter. Part of the lightning that comes out of this cloud can be controlled by the user. Controlling limit depends on the user's proficency. It is usually limited to 3 lightning bolts. posts. After the limit is breached, the lightning bolts will shoot down in a random fashion, causing slight destruction in the area.


+ Clan History: The Abarai's true origins are unknown. But according to History, the Abarai Clan is one of the newest clan's founded. The Clan's History dates back to the one who founded the Abarai Temple, Abarai Tsuya. It is rumored that before Tsuya came along to uplift his clan, the Abarai and its Mugenkugan were scattered throughout the countries. Abarai Tsuya, a shinobi of the Hidden Cloud, was encouraged by the Raikage at the time to gathers and uplift his lost clan and bring forth its foundation in the Lightning Country. The Raikage knew the abilities of the Mugenkugan would help out the Hidden Cloud Village greatly. Tsuya ended up in the Hidden Cloud Village as an orphan child, dumped on the doormat of the Raikage's house.

Abarai Tsuya, traveled the five Great Countries and then some, searching for his lost Family. Within this 40 year conquest, Tsuya found two men and two woman who bore the Mugenkugan and the Abarai name. These five became the Elders of the Abarai. But this was not the only find Tsuya came across. Tsuya fell in love with a Konoha shinobi through his conquest, and bore three girls and one boy.

As Tsuya grew older, he and what was now the Abarai Clan, began to build deep in the mountains, the Abarai Temple beginning with its foundation. The completion of theAbarai Temple was the day of Tsuya's death, and in honor of his memory, the Elder's decided to construct his image on the foundation, looking up into the Heavens. The Elder's established the clan's traditions very quickly, mostly based on what Abarai Tsuya would have wanted. In order to keep balance and order with the Abarai Clan, there would always be the council of 5 Elders to give final word to anything.
