(Yes it is supposed to start out on stage two)
[ STAGE: TWO. ]
- Shiiru Ninpou: Koji Aratameru; Force Ninja Arts: Fact Change Technique.
- Description:
-- One of the main things going against a spy is facts. With this jutsu however, that is no longer a factor. The user is capable of changing very small facts in history for a target, but only for a small amount of time. Small facts would include what year it is, how long two people have known each other (this includes the user and the target), or how many times something has happened; basically, numerical facts. Only one fact may be changed per use, and it may not be changed by more than three numbers.
- Shiiru Ninpou: Hoshou; Force Art: Assurance Technique.
- Description:
-- When telling a story or explaining oneself, it is crucial to create a believable story in the espionage world. Even when this is done, though, lies can be seen through. This jutsu aids the user in this area. By using this genjutsu, the target is overcome with a feeling of trust towards the user, as if they were life-long friends. If the target is in any doubt about whether or not to take the user’s words for truth, he will lean more towards ‘yes’ than ‘no’.
- Museibutsu Henge no Jutsu; Object Transformation Technique.
- Description:
-- It is well known that one can change their own appearance, but what about objects’ appearances? Well, this technique now allows this to be done. By simply touching the target with both hands, the user is capable of changing its appearance and texture. There are limits though, such as the item cannot be any larger than a scroll, and it may not be used during battle.
[ STAGE: THREE. ]
- Oborerujo no Aitou; Lament of the Drowned Woman Technique.
- Description:
-- The intended target will hear a sudden loud cry for help from his side or behind him. When he looks, he will see a female precious to him, such as a mother, sister, wife, daughter, or friend drowning in water. If there is no water on the battlefield to begin with, he will not wonder how that body of water suddenly came into existence; for some reason, that discrepancy does not fasten to his thoughts. If the person is known to be an excellent swimmer or a shinobi, he will see dozens of chains wrapped around her that prevents her from keeping afloat. The genjutsu is meant to distract the target, hopefully lure him to the image where a trap or a teammate is waiting. If the victim ignores the woman’s cries, she will continue to drown: flailing limbs, face turning colors, eyes bulging out of her sockets, dreadful gagging noises... When used against female opponents, the vision is still of a beloved female close to that person.
- Botabota; Drip Drip Technique.
- Description:
-- Heaven knows how annoying the sound of incessant dripping can be when one is trying to sleep. The constant pattern burns into the person's mind, keeping him from precious rest, rewiring his thoughts so that he finds himself waiting for that next inevitable drip, over and over no matter how hard he tries not to. Now imagine if someone had that problem on the battlefield. This genjutsu puts the sound of dripping water into the target's mind. It echoes so loudly inside his head he can’t hear himself think. It brings about that same problem of maintaining concentration because the victim catches himself constantly waiting for that next drip instead of focusing on the battle. Even more frustrating is that the dripping pattern will arbitrarily speed up and slow down.
- Roukai Tsurishi; Crafty Angler Technique.
- Description:
-- A kawarimi type jutsu, this replaces the user with a pillow-sized glob of mud. When it touches a surface, whether that surface is the ground or a person, the mud quickly hardens into a shell that prevents movement of whatever limb or other body part it landed on (cannot be the head). The mud shell requires Stage Three offensive ninjutsu to break, or crumbles. It is more of a nasty surprise than a true binding technique.
[ STAGE: FOUR. ]
- Namimakura; Falling Asleep to the Sound of the Ocean Technique.
- Description:
-- A sleeping genjutsu powerful enough to be employed in combat. When executed, one target will hear the gentle splashing of waves on the beach and fall into a deep sleep. Physically harming the victim will wake him up before the duration finishes, but he will be left with a groggy feeling that will interfere with his performance in combat.
- Fuyu Shimodoke; Winter Thaw Technique.
- Description:
-- This jutsu was developed after decades of Snow missing-nin killing Mist hunters in an effort to combat the Snow-nins' ability to turn a Mist shinobi's jutsu against them. It causes all the water or ice within a varying radius to heat up to approximately 80 degrees centigrade. The now-heated water can, of course, be used for water jutsu, naturally making them more damaging. This obviously would melt any ice, however it is not a defense against fast-moving ice jutsu, but it would prevent any snow or ice user from freezing any water within the set radius. In RP terms, an opposing Snow-nin is unable to claim a monopoly on water in the surrounding area by freezing it all.
- Mokumoku Satsugai no Jutsu; Silent Killing Technique.
- Description:
-- The Swordsman-turned-traitor Momochi Zabuza was well known for his mastery of this technique. When employed, it silences every movement the user makes: the smallest step, the shallowest breath, the slightest rustle of clothing. In addition to this, every trace of the user’s scent is masked by employing chakra to cover up the Warden’s scent with those of his surroundings. It becomes extremely difficult to detect the user, allowing him to sneak about for up to four posts and slit throats before the victim knows what hit him. Using another jutsu will immediately dispel this technique.
- Suiton: Mizuame Nabara; Water Element: Syrup Capture Field Technique.
- Description:
-- In a manner similar to a katon jutsu, the user can form a single, one-handed tiger seal close to their mouth. Again, alike a katon, the user will inhale, and then spit out their attack. Unlike a katon, however, the user will not spit out fire, and will instead spew out a rather large field of extremely sticky syrup, that will harden over the course of one post, trapping anyone inside it. There is a rather simple, if not well-known way, of escaping this jutsu's binding effects, and that is using the Water Walking jutsu to walk on top of the field. Anyone wishing to escape this way, though, must do so before the syrup hardens.
- Ryouki; Hunting Season Technique.
- Description:
-- If they hoped to be successful hunters, the Wardens needed a way to track down fleeing missing-nin, so this jutsu was created. By executing the correct handseals and focusing on a target, the user can ‘color’ the target’s chakra aura a vivid silver. After the target uses Shunshin to escape, the hunter moves to the place where he disappeared and tests the air for that silver chakra aura to find where he fled.
[ STAGE: FIVE. ]
- Enkouseki Shibari; Salt Crystal Bind Technique.
- Description:
-- An illusionary binding technique in which the target envisions arms of thick salt crystallizing around his legs, rapidly growing up his torso, encasing his arms, and creeping up his neck to finally close off over his head, cutting off all sound and sight. The first post of the genjutsu will only see the salt crystals reach his waist, allowing the victim one chance to attempt Kai (however, he must recognize it as a genjutsu). For the rest of the duration, the target is rendered blind, deaf, and immobile, but any pain caused to the victim from an outside source will end the technique.
- Fugu Tate no Jutsu; Blowfish Shield Technique.
- Description:
-- A dual purpose jutsu that, when executed, quickly forms a strong shield of swirling water around the user in the shape of a sphere. It is big enough to protect up to four people (size of a sedan), and sturdy enough to halt Stage Four ninjutsu. When the shield is broken or the technique ends, the water violently explodes outwards in all directions as a hail of solidified water daggers. One should be careful not to let the shield burst when there are allies nearby.
- Seinaru Funsen no Megumi; Blessing of the Sacred Fountain Technique.
- Description:
-- This jutsu, developed by Mist’s medical division specifically for the OnT, staves off the effects of all poisons. It allows the shinobi to continually cleanse his biological systems and purify any foreign agents that might harm his body. The jutsu must be performed before being poisoned to be effective and may only be performed once per battle.
- Dassuishou; Dehydration Technique.
- Description:
-- Activated by a mere touch against the target’s skin or clothing, the victim starts to sweat very heavily, quickly accumulating so much liquid on his body it looks as if it’s raining on him. The jutsu effectively drains him of bodily fluids, weakening him over a period of three posts and leaving him with a terrible thirst. Any drink consumed during the jutsu's duration won't be absorbed by the body.
- Mizu Himaku Hitokiri; Water Film Assassination Technique.
- Description:
-- Coats the OnT's fingers on one hand with an extremely thin film of "sharp water" that is difficult to see. Running the coated fingers over clothing or skin will cut it as deeply as a dagger. The harder the user presses, the deeper the cut; it is theoretically possible to sever someone’s thumb with this jutsu alone. The user can safely put his own hands together without cutting his own skin, but cannot use other jutsu without dispelling this technique first.
[ STAGE: SIX. ]
- Muma Nagi no Sairen; Siren’s Nightmare Lull Technique.
- Description:
-- This illusionary technique produces an image of beautiful mermaid women atop wave-washed rocks, singing tragic stories of love between mortals and sea gods. Their enchanted songs attempt to persuade the listener(s) to stop fighting and draw them into their sweetly haunting melodies. The genjutsu acts so powerfully here that it might even cause some opponents to shed tears while they fight (or not). In the second post, if it lasts that long, the Sirens flock to the listener(s) and mercilessly shred him to the bone with their claws. Try fighting with five or so furious, screeching Sirens stripping flesh away in all glorious imitation of kids unwrapping a Christmas present. If the genjutsu happens to continue longer, and the target tries to move away, the Sirens will follow, clinging to his body, slashing him, trying to drag him to the ground.
- Suiton: Kuukijuu; Water Element: Air Rifle Technique.
- Description:
-- The user positions his index and middle finger together, forming a spiked two-inch cap of water over his fingertips. This water can be released simply by pointing and aiming and is launched at a speed incredible enough to carry the water bullet for up to a mile. While in flight, the bullet is spinning to maintain accuracy and also to cause greater damage to the target. Due to the concentration needed to perform this jutsu, it cannot be done in combat unless there is at least 100 feet of space between the user and the target.
- Kaishi no Mizu; Water of Mysterious Death Technique.
- Description:
-- A technique that allows the user to create a special poison and mix it into a liquid. In a non-combat situation, the poison can be put into someone’s drink without detection. In a combat situation, it takes one post of preparation to imbue a regular offensive Mist ninjutsu of Stage Three or lower with the poison's effects. The Mist ninjutsu will be performed in the next post in hopes of delivering the poison either by creating a fresh, bleeding wound or splashing the poisoned water onto an already opened wound. Alternatively, the user can also mix the poison into his own sweat after the one post of preparation and smear the poisoned sweat onto a weapon. The poison gradually numbs all sensation in the victim’s limbs over the course of two to five minutes depending on the severity of the wound (not translatable to post counts, use your own judgment), before forcing the heart to stop pumping.
- Kuchiyose: Sawa no Jutsu; Summon: Marsh Technique.
- Description:
-- On the off-chance the OnT is caught in a battle with limited amounts of water, he can harness a great deal of chakra to transform the surroundings into a marsh that extends 300 feet in every direction. The area becomes quite treeless, flooded with deep pools and populated by wild grasses, and most importantly provides a source of water for the OnT’s suiton. Plus, Mist’s crocodile summons love this environment.
- Yuge Bakudan; Steam Bomb Technique.
- Description:
-- The shinobi gathers a baseball sized sphere of water in his hand. This water can be launched at the opponent or applied with direct physical contact. Once it makes contact with the enemy, the sphere breaks open and the water sticks to the body. The user can then ‘activate’ the special effect at will: the water’s temperature immediately jumps sky-high, turning it into very, very hot steam. It takes one full post for all the water to evaporate, during which it will cause the victim 2nd degree burns. This jutsu is favored both in combat and torture.
[ STAGE: SEVEN. ]
- Kisokuen’en; At One’s Last Gasp Technique.
- Description:
-- The OnT forms a small orb of water in his palm and launches it at the target. If the hit connects, regardless of which part of the target’s body it hit, the water will splash and scatter, then swiftly climb onto the victim’s head and reform as a layer of water that is incredibly difficult to remove. It prevents him from breathing unless he wants to drown, and can be broken by base Strength 36 or a Stage Seven offensive ninjutsu. If the water is not removed, the victim drowns within four posts. If the victim has an underwater breathing jutsu/item, he is safe from this jutsu, but in the case of an item, if the item is not already on his face when he is caught, then it's too late to put it on.
- Kyouatsu Sourou; Pressure Chamber Prison Technique.
- Description:
-- Similar to Suirou (Water Prison), the user traps a target inside a spherical prison of water. The jutsu can be maintained as long as the user keeps one hand inside the prison, and the victim is unable to escape once inside. At the same time, however, the user cannot use any other jutsu with his single free hand. This advanced version of Suirou acts as if the person inside was being sent deep underwater: the amount of force pressing against his body increases the longer the jutsu is held. Eventually, his bones will begin to break, one by one, not to mention the immense discomfort… It is a favorite for extracting information from an unwilling target because this technique cannot kill; the effects always stop at the point just before it would cause death.
